Multiply that would shut down a blog, photo and video content providers. This is done so that they focus more on developing e-commerce industry.
News of the closing of real had terendus Multiply blog long enough, but this time the new CEO Stefan Magdalinski spoke today about the closure.
"Starting December 1, with great regret we can no longer support the provision of activity today in the form of social networking and sharing of content (photos, video, blogs, and others)," wrote Magdalinski, as reported on the multiply site on Tuesday (7 / 8/2012).
Multiply social networking service was introduced around 2003 and until now has earned tens of millions of users around the world. But instead of continuing to serve its loyal users, this Florida-based company would like to switch to e-commerce industry that supposedly began to bloom in Indonesia and the Philippines.
Closing action of these services impact on all users, including those who use the premium service today.
"In connection with Multiply Premium subscription status, we will refund the remaining balance, and apologize for any inconvenience caused. Please contact the Customer Service team to process refunds. Please note, this only applies to Multiply Premium, Multiply Trust is not a product for e-services commerce, "continued Magdalinski.
"Certainly most of you will not like this news, and sorry if this should remain our news to convey. We hope you will be able to understand the reasons for the enactment of this decision. Thank you for being part of Eons community for 8 years," he insists.
