Samsung Release 'Mobile Extreme' Galaxy S4 Active

Samsung finally confirmed the rumors about the Galaxy S4 Active with the opening of its presence. This phone will be released first in Europe and the U.S. in mid-summer of this year.


As quoted from Engadget, Thursday (06/06/2013), phones with Android OS version 4.2.2 Jelly Bean uses a quad-core 1.9GHz processor, supported by 2GB of RAM.

Active GS4 is also carrying the 5-inch display (TFT LCD) display with full high definition 1080p (443 ppi). For the main camera on the back, offered a resolution of 8MP. And for the front camera, resolution up to 2MP.


The camera on the phone GS4 Active is also able to take pictures and record videos under water for 30 minutes by setting 'Aqua Mode' blessing which makes qualifying IP67 water and dust resistant. For the headphone socket is also protected waterproof feature.

The phone itself is targeted to segment users who like extreme activity associated with outdoor exploration, for example, to rock climbing, mountain climbing, while sailing at sea, or to cross the river.

In addition to dust and water resistant, the mobile phone comes three color choices (Urban Grey, Dive Blue, and Orange Flare) also has features 'glove touch' that makes the touch screen is easy to operate even with gloves.

Samsung itself has not announced official pricing for the phones that support LTE network. Announcement about the price likely to be announced at the launch in London later this month.
