Junk Food Ads Destructive Image Good Olympics London

Indonesia, now almost all pairs of eyes in the world leads to the XXX Olympiad which took place in the city of London. Watching sporting events can provide entertainment and motivation to exercise, but you may forget about junk food ads that often appear in the middle of the game.

Junk food companies like Coca-Cola and McDonald's of course delighted to sponsor the Olympics. The amount of public interest to make the Olympic junk food ads in the middle of the game become more effective and targeted.

Michael F. Jacobson, Executive Director, Center for Science in the Public Interest rate, it was really ironic. Given the global event featuring athletes healthy and strong should be inserted shows that food advertising can be harmful to health.

3. The Lancet, British medical journal states that it is difficult to remove long-term effects of obesity because of the influence left by the Olympic ads.

4. IOC President Jacques Rogge of Belgium, also acknowledged the problem.

Responding to some of these disagreements, junk food companies that sponsor stating that all beverage products can be enjoyed as part of an active lifestyle and healthy.

"A lot of athletes who say that our company is one of the favorite eating places. So our company's involvement as a sponsor is not a problem that needs to be exaggerated," said McDonald as reported huffingtonpost party, Saturday (07/28/2012).
